2026-27 HOCKEY CANADA FOUNDATION ASSIST FUND
BC Hockey wanted to provide advance notice that applications for the Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund will open on Saturday, Aug. 1, for the 2026-27 season.
Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications will only be considered complete once all required documentation has been submitted.
To prepare, eligible families should have:
- Confirmation that their child is registered for the 2026-27 season with a Hockey Canada-sanctioned Minor Hockey Association
- Valid proof of total family income, such as a Canada Child Benefit statement or the previous year’s Notice of Assessment for each income-earning family member
- Information about any other funding for which they have applied

BC Hockey will send the official Hockey Canada Assist Fund email on Saturday, Aug. 1, with the application link and further details for participants and Minor Hockey Associations.
